LUNCH - The Hogs Head, Great Treadam, Llantilio Crossenny, Abergavenny, NP7 8TA

Abergavenny - There is a car park on Cross Street (pay and display) and a path from the car park up to the church on Monk Street.
There are toilets in the car park.
There is virtually no on street parking in Abergavenny in the town centre, it's all narrow roads and double yellow lines, so the car park is recommended.

Usk 8 (14) 5.30 - 6.15

Other Information
There is Mass at 6.30pm Saturday for those who wish to attend at Ss David Lewis and Francis Xavier, Porthycarne Street, Usk (and again at 10am on Sunday). This church is a 5 minute walk, 10 minute stroll from Usk parish church. Details of the churches in Usk can be found at http://www.usktc.force9.co.uk/churches.aspx

There are curry houses in Abergavenny and one in Usk, all of which I've visited and found ok over the years, but I have to say I haven't been for about 10 years, so things may have changed in that time! There is also a pub in the town square in Usk which does decent food. If you want a special meal, maybe if anyone is staying over, the Clytha Arms near Raglan does very good food and beer and has its own website. http://www.clytha-arms.com It's not too far from the Travelodge mentioned later, although I'd double check that it's doing food on the particular evening in question if anyone is thinking of going.

For hotels, there are loads of B and Bs to be found online in the area around Monmouth / Abergavenny / Usk / Newport. There is also a Travelodge on the A40 between Monmouth and Abergavenny (and not far from Usk) and a Holiday Inn Express in Pontypool, which is west of Usk. There are of course loads of similar chain hotels in Cardiff / Newport and other smaller hotels dotted around. People who want to stay over should find something to suit their pocket without too much difficulty, but it would be worth booking soon as the Spring Ring falls in the local schools' Easter holiday.

All towers confirmed.
